Mario Maccarini was born in Corrientes in the Argentine Republic in 1958. In 1984 he graduated in Architecture at the U.N.N.E. He continued his education by completing a master’s degree in interior design at the Rafael Leoz Foundation in Madrid in 1985/1986.
In 1987 he moved to Milan, Italy and began working for Studio G14 & Cortesi design, dealing with various projects in the public and private residential field. Since 1997 he has founded with the geom. E. Guzzetti and with the arch. F. Gaidano own design studio.
In 1998 he obtained a second degree in Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano.
For Valenti he designed the Calligraphic and Ego Linear lamps
