diva lampadario 18

INSPIRATION

The name of this collection is a tribute to an extraordinary woman of our family: Diva Medici.

Diva was born in the 1920s in Tuscany. To pay homage to this woman, mother and grandmother, we were inspired by the style of taste that was most in vogue at that time: the art deco.

The name Déco comes from the words “Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes” (International Exhibition of Decorative Arts)
and modern industrialists) held in Paris in 1925, which kicked off this new phenomenon involving decorative arts, visual arts, architecture and fashion.

The period between 1919 and 1930 was a period full of innovations and desire for change accompanied by the ideas of futurism and industrialization.

Materials

The lamps are in steel, available in chrome and gold, and in blown crystal, available in four colors.

We focused on the quality of finishes and materials to produce luminous objects that were both elegant and precious.

The suspensions are of various types to allow the application of the products in various contexts. Glass is blown in two forms: sphere and crushed sphere.
